Beautiful Sulphur Springs Mustang mare, 8 yrs old and totally untamed. Rounded up at 4 years old and left in a field for the past 4 years. BLM verified she is titled and was originally adopted in North Carolina.
We now have an offer from a private donor to pay for her tuition with a natural horsemanship trainer with mustang experience where she can learn to trust humans and receive basic gentling and ground manners training.!!!!
But FIRST we need to get her safe ♥
This is an incredible opportunity for her. We need to be able to get her out of the lot first!! Her broker fee is $450 and her estimated transport is $350 to the training facility in VA..
Any funds donated above that will be used for her aftercare. Please do what you can to share this chip in to help her start her life over and finally be treated with respect and kindness.

This mare was rounded up in the Sulphur Springs HMA in Utah in November 2008 and was believed to be 4 years old at that time. We will need a home for her with a person/family/foster who has experience in handling/gentling wild horses.
Another life in danger, another mustang betrayed.
Hard to believe, there seems to be no end to the suffering after the roundup. We no sooner get one to safety and another is in danger of shipping to slaughter. This is the 8th mustang we have found in danger of shipping to slaughter between Ohio and PA since New Years Eve. We have been given the opportunity to save 5 of them so far, 2 disappeared in Ohio and 1 was untitled and owned by the government in PA.
We have managed with your help to get 4 of the 5 to safety. I pray we can make it 5 out of 5. We are interested in talking to anyone who has mustang experience who is capable of fostering a mustang. If you have a facility with good fencing and can provide shelter and handling for one of these incredible horses please contact us by using the contact form on our website: http://www.themustangfreedomfoundation.com
