Parents and Teachers: Please encourage your children and students to Join the Childrens Letter Writing Campaign to Save America’s Horses. Every 5 Minutes an American Horse is killed for human consumption in other countries.
Over the years, Children and Horses have had a special connection. That connection helps reach disabled children and adults, as well as at-risk children.
Schools, Church Groups, Scout Troops, and School Clubs can all participate in the Childrens Letter Writing Campaign to Save America’s Horses, which was started Courtesy of Jo-Claire Corcoran of Equine Welfare Alliance.
HERE IS WHAT THE HORSES NEED YOU TO DO: Write Letters, Write Poems, Draw Pictures – Tell Congress and President Obama what horses mean to you, and that Horses are not meant to be eaten. The letters need to be received by Equine Welfare Alliance by March 20, 2012, and will be presented to Congress on March 27, 2012.
Join us at FaceBook at Million Horse March, Children’s Letter Writing Campaign. Children, be sure to ask your parent’s permission.
